Job Overview:The Senior Coordinator QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) will support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Primoris Energy Services' QHSE management systems in Hubbard, TX. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, promotes a strong safety culture, and assists in achieving operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of QHSE programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for safety incidents, near misses, and environmental deviations.
* Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees, ensuring understanding and compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date QHSE documentation, including permits, records, reports, and incident logs.
* Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure QHSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of operations.
* Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, spill prevention, and air quality, and assist in reporting as required.
* Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
* Support the continuous improvement of QHSE performance through data analysis, trend identification, and best practice implementation.
* Act as a resource for employees and management on QHSE-related matters.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
* 5+ years of progressive experience in QHSE roles within the energy services, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local QHSE regulations.
* Proven experience in conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively train and influence various levels of employees.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30-hour, or equivalent preferred.
* Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
