Responsibilities

Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Controls Department as we are actively recruiting for a SeniorControls Integration Specialist. This position reports to the Controls Integration Supervisor.

What we're looking for

PLC Programming
  • Design, develop and integrate PLC/HMI applications in Rockwell and Siemens software environments
  • Integrate advanced devices (vision, drives, nut runners, printers, etc.)
  • Configure safety devices and safety plc logic according to industry standards
OR
Robot Programming
  • Commission and program robots across various brands (Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa, Nachi)
  • Set up and development of robotic processes (Spot Weld, GMAW, MH, Dispense)
  • Configure safety parameters and safety IO using robot safety software
AND
General Duties
  • Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols (Ethernet, Profinet, etc)
  • Develop logic and process solutions for complex applications
  • Collaborate with build teams, removing integration roadblocks and adhering to timelines
  • Ensure successful machine tryouts before shipping and after installation
  • Train and mentor junior Integration Specialists


What you need to succeed
  • 8+ years of experience in design, start-up and troubleshooting of automated machinery including hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics in North America
  • College diploma or University degree in a field relative to machine integration
  • Ability to work effectively in a Team environment
  • Able to work overtime as required to meet project timelines
  • Flexibility to travel to customer locations
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and travel to USA, and Mexico

Wage Range: $38.00 - $52.00 / hour
