This position is a hybrid role, Monday - Thursday in office with the option to work from home on Friday. This position based in either Boston, MA, San Jose, CA or Austin, TX.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $144,500 - $170,000 base salary. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in negotiating and closing commercial transactions, who excels at navigating complex contract issues, takes pride in partnering with business stakeholders to close strategic, high-impact deals and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Negotiate, draft and close commercial agreements, including cloud services agreements, SaaS, artificial intelligence solutions, professional services, non-disclosure agreements and data privacy agreements, with a solution-driven mindset.

  • Collaborate with your Roku legal colleagues to provide guidance to internal business partners on a wide variety of contract-related issues, including data privacy, security, confidentiality and artificial intelligence
  • Be proactive, organized, and dependable - you take initiative, communicate early and clearly, and keep internal business partners informed as deals progress.
  • Have fun while doing it: work with best-in-class colleagues on some of the most interesting and novel issues arising in the TV streaming industry. Lead with a mindset that embraces innovation, empathy, humor and kindness.
We Are Excited if You Have
  • At least 7 years of experience structuring and negotiating commercial technology agreements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • A proven ability to draft and negotiate agreements using existing templates and playbooks or from scratch
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to persuade
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-department and cross-functional role
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS and cloud services contracts, including data privacy and security terms
  • Experience with Ironclad, SharePoint, DocuSign, and Confluence.
