Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities- Non-legal contract experts primarily supporting all phases (ITO and OTR) of projects including negotiations, managing commercial issues, customer and supplier relationships, claims, disputes and insurance.
- Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
- Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
- Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. These jobs have significant input into their priorities. Jobs at this level tend to be covered by professional practices and policies but these are shaped by the role. Required Qualifications- Master's degree from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience within a relevant Commercial or Legal function.
Desired Characteristics- Working hours must be around the EST time zone to accommodate business and clients
- Contract reading and writing experience
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle many complex issues concurrently
- 6+ years claims management experience
- Construction claims negotiation experience
- Developer or EPC Experience, preferably in the Power Industry
- A sense of urgency and customer-focused responsiveness

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $127,500.00 and $212,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
