The Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle for complex commercial transactions, with a focus on contracts for engineered to order products, (value 250k+), non-disclosure agreements, commercial contracts, master agreements, supplier terms, and bank-related documents. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and executive leadership to review, draft, negotiate, administer, and maintain contracts that support business objectives while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable requirements.
Essential Duties:• Review, draft, revise, and administer a broad range of agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, commercial contracts, purchase and sales terms, master agreements, maintenance agreements.
• Lead and support negotiations for customer, supplier, and partner agreements, including pricing terms, delivery obligations, warranties, limitation of liability, indemnities, confidentiality, payment terms, risk mitigation and other commercial provisions.
• Support contract activity for engineered-to-order products by coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Project Management to ensure technical specifications, scope, delivery milestones, acceptance criteria, and commercial terms are accurately reflected in contract documents.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend practical solutions to protect the company's interests while supporting timely deal execution.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on contract questions, interpretation of terms and conditions, and contract administration processes.
• Coordinate with Executive Management, Finance on non-standard terms, risk allocation, insurance requirements, credit terms, tax issues, and compliance matters.
• Support continuous improvement of contract templates, terms and conditions approval workflows, and contract management processes.
• Prepare contract summaries, status updates, and reports for management as needed.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, commercial operations, procurement, legal operations, or a related function.
• 3+ years of experience supporting engineered-to-order, custom manufactured, project-based, or technically complex products or services.
• 3+ years of experience working for a federal contractor and FAR and DFAR regulations.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing contract documents through the full life cycle.
• Strong working knowledge of non-disclosure agreements, commercial terms and conditions, purchase orders, customer agreements, supplier agreements, amendments, and change orders.
• Familiarity with bank documents such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, bonds, and related financial documentation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain contract terms to business stakeholders in a clear and practical manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Preferred qualifications:• Experience in engineered systems, or another engineered-to-order environment.
• Experience working with international customers, suppliers, distributors, or agents.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, export controls, trade compliance, insurance certificates, and project documentation requirements.
• Experience coordinating with outside counsel, banking institutions and insurance companies.
• Professional certification such as CPCM, or other contract management credentials are a plus.

Salary Range: Salaries/Rates will vary and may be above or below this rate commensurate with several factors including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
