Job Description:

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Senior Contracts Administrator supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Combatant Command (CCMD) customers. In this role, you will take ownership of existing contracts while driving growth by serving as the contract lead on proposals for new business and on‑contract expansion. You’ll enable the success of critical government missions and support the continued growth of our Defense portfolio.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Senior Contracts Administrator, your work will directly support SOF/CCMD missions and help ensure operational readiness across high‑visibility programs. You will play a crucial role in:

  • Leading, managing, and supporting proposals for new and existing SOF/CCMD programs, including pricing strategy, risk identification, and compliance alignment
  • Taking over contract management responsibilities for current programs, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and proactive oversight of all contractual obligations
  • Collaborating with program managers, business development teams, capture teams, and finance partners to ensure mission success and compliant contract execution
  • Driving issue resolution, advising leadership on contractual risks, and developing innovative solutions to support program performance and growth
  • Utilizing expert knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (including the new FAR Rehaul clauses), DFARS, and DoW/Service‑specific contract requirements


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your contract management expertise and your ability to anticipate and mitigate contractual risks. The Senior Contracts Administrator must have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related experience in contracts administration.
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience in contracts administration. Experience supporting Department of War or other federal programs preferred.
  • Role requirements:
    • Ability to identify, assess, and communicate contractual risk during the capture, proposal, and execution phases
    • Strong working knowledge of the updated FAR Rehaul framework, DFARS, and government contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.)
    • Active listener with excellent communication (written and oral) abilities
    • Self‑starter capable of managing workload independently while supporting cross-functional teams
    • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Security clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • US citizenship required
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Tampa, FL. Must be comfortable working in the office 3 days a week.


The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $94,999. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
