Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Senior CI Engineer leads the implementation of Lean principles tools, and systems throughout the organization. This person independently manages complex projects that improve safety, quality, and efficiency. The Senior CI Engineer serves as a technical expert in Lean methodologies and provides guidance to stakeholders. This person mentors less experienced engineers and facilitates cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic objectives. Finally, this person drives Continuous Improvement initiatives and challenges existing processes to deliver innovative solutions.

This role requires onsite work 5 days/week in Mentor, OH. This role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship or H1B Transfer.

What You'll do as a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer

  • Lead and execute Continuous Improvement projects with full accountability for outcomes.
  • Deliver Lean curriculum and coach teams on advanced Lean principles and tools.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events; monitor and measure to ensure sustainment of results.
  • Provide technical guidance on Lean methodologies including 5S, standard work, value stream mapping, problem solving, etc.
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.
  • Mentor and support team members in technical and problem-solving best practices.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and leadership on improvement strategies.
  • Prepare cost/benefit analysis and contribute to capital expenditure planning.
  • Maintain expertise in Lean tools and continuously seek innovative approaches.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.


The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Technical Field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing or service environment.


Preferred
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., AME/SME Bronze or higher, SixSigma Green Belt or higher).


Other
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean principles and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor others.

Pay range for this opportunity is $92,650.00 - $119,900.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
