The opportunity

At EY Consulting, we are building a better working world by transforming businesses through the power of people, technology, and innovation. Our clients are at the heart of what we do. We're focused on solving the key issues of our client buyers, building deeper relationships, and generating lasting value with significant impact.

Our firm sets the standard for consulting services, fostering an environment that encourages career ownership at every stage. As a part of our team, you'll be at the forefront of this dynamic service line, driving change and delivering solutions that revolutionize business operations. You'll help our clients in transformation and innovation efforts: driving growth, reducing costs, and building future-ready organizations.

Your key responsibilities

EY's Transformation Architecture and Delivery (TAD) practice offers a dynamic career path for professionals passionate about solving complex business, technology, and infrastructure challenges. As a Senior, you'll help drive transformation initiatives that align with clients' strategic goals - bridging the gap between strategy and execution. You will contribute to the design and delivery of business and solution architecture frameworks, program management approaches, and value realization structures.

Whether your strengths lie in business strategy or technology strategy, you'll have the opportunity to build your career across TAD Business and TAD Technology Strategy teams, broadening your experience while specializing in the areas that best fit your interests and career goals.

TAD Business: In Business, you will partner directly with clients to plan, design, deliver, and deploy transformative solutions. Your work will center on directing strategic transformation programs through TMO and PMO frameworks, leveraging Agile methodologies like SAFe and Scrum to manage risk and resources across workstreams. You'll also shape governance models and portfolio strategies that align with organizational objectives, while crafting compelling business cases and ideation frameworks to secure executive buy-in. Through performance management and storytelling techniques, you'll help clients achieve measurable value realization at every stage of their transformation journey.

TAD Technology Strategy: In Technology Strategy, you will partner directly with clients to define and execute technology transformation agendas that align technology investments with business priorities. Your work will focus on designing technology operating models, optimizing costs and sourcing strategies, supporting M&A transaction and integration initiatives, and enabling enterprise-wide technology transformation. You'll shape governance frameworks, develop transformation roadmaps, and help organizations modernize their technology capabilities to improve performance, agility, and business outcomes. Through strategy, implementation, and value realization, you'll help clients build future-ready technology organizations.

Industry sectors

Our practice professionals serve clients across a variety of industries including, but not limited to: Consumer, Retail, Health, Life Sciences, Industrial Products, Mobility, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Private Equity, Media, Technology, and Telecommunications.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor's degree and approximately 2-4+ years of experience in technology or technology strategy consulting, business or digital transformation, or program and project management
  • Consulting experience supporting client-facing transformation programs, projects, or workstreams across business and/or technology environments
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Replit) to enhance productivity, analysis, and solution development
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively, foster inclusivity, and work across diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for a range of audiences
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with intellectual curiosity and a proactive, execution-oriented mindset
  • Agile, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity in dynamic environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and a desire to drive meaningful impact for global and domestic organizations
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work flexible hours based on client and project needs (65 - 80%)
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from EY offices and client sites, as required

Ideally, you will have
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives, including PMO/EPMO set-up, transformation office design, and end-to-end program or portfolio delivery
  • Experience leading or supporting technology operating model and process design, capability roadmaps, organizational change, technology strategy and transformation, cost optimization, sourcing strategies, enterprise architecture, and technology-enabled business transformation
  • Familiarity with program and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Clarity, Planview)
  • Experience working with delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Ability to apply structured frameworks to solve complex business and technology challenges
  • Experience supporting business development efforts, including RFP responses, proposals, and client presentations
