Full Job Description
Make an impact with our Digital team as a Senior Consultant, Sage Intacct. This diverse team of technology-savvy problem solvers delivers expertise across customer platforms, data and analytics, cloud and business applications, and digital transformation initiatives. As a trusted advisor, you will help clients align technology with their business goals, improve financial operations, and create lasting value through innovative solutions.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Consultant, Sage Intacct, you will:

  • Lead and deliver strategic finance and technology consulting engagements for clients across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.
  • Provide advisory services in areas including finance strategy, governance, planning, business alignment, process redesign, solution design, system selection, project management, and finance systems optimization.
  • Design, configure, and implement Sage Intacct and related technology solutions, including Microsoft Power BI and other third-party applications.
  • Develop integrated business solutions that address people, process, and technology requirements.
  • Design and document business processes and workflows, including:
  • Project and grant management
  • Revenue recognition
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Financial reporting
  • Support data migration activities, including cleansing historical financial data and loading information into Sage Intacct.
  • Deliver consulting services related to business transformation, operational improvement, organizational effectiveness, performance optimization, and risk management.
  • Manage complex projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify business challenges, determine root causes, and develop innovative solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships by identifying opportunities to provide additional value and services.
  • Manage project financials, including resource utilization, budgets, work-in-progress tracking, billing, collections, and profitability.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret information through research, interviews, workshops, surveys, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Prepare client presentations, reports, recommendations, and executive summaries.
  • Quickly develop an understanding of client business operations, objectives, and key risks.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs and collaboration sessions to establish roles, responsibilities, timelines, and success measures.
  • Coordinate project teams and resources to ensure alignment with project plans and deliverables.
  • Review team work products for quality, completeness, and accuracy while providing coaching and mentorship.
  • Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and proactively address risks and issues.
  • Ensure project documentation and delivery standards are maintained throughout engagements.
  • Support business development activities through proposal development, solution design, presentations, workshops, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Build knowledge of MNP's services, industries, and client solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the business and technology community.
  • Contribute new ideas, innovations, and process improvements that enhance service delivery and team effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, wellness, and professional growth.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of consulting, technology, or enterprise application implementation experience.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or similar ERP/financial management solutions.
  • Experience within the Construction, Real Estate, Property Management, or Professional Services industries is considered a strong asset.
  • Client-facing consulting experience with a demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and deliver successful business outcomes.
  • CPA designation or practical accounting experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with finance transformation, ERP implementations, system optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading project workstreams, managing project financials, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Proposal development and business development experience is an asset.


Technical and Professional Skills

  • Strong accounting, financial reporting, and business process knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with financial systems design, configuration, and implementation.
  • Project management, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Passion for innovation and leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges.
  • Experience in:
    • Finance strategy and planning
    • Business and IT transformation
    • Business process redesign
    • Solution design and system selection
    • ERP implementations and optimization
    • Organizational effectiveness and performance improvement
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, or equivalent are considered assets.
  • Established professional network within business or technology communities is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Bilingual (French) would be an asset.
