Full Job Description
The Senior Project Manager position is a hybrid-style role based between two primary locations: the Wolf Creek Contracting office in Waterford, Ohio, and active job sites. This position will work across projects and operations rather than being assigned to one specific project. Remote work is not available for this position.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) provides leadership and oversight for Wolf Creek Contracting's general contracting operations and Project Management team. Rather than managing one specific project, the SPM will oversee and support multiple Project Managers, establish and improve operating procedures, drive accountability, and ensure projects are executed consistently with company standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership and oversight for general contracting operations across multiple projects.
  • Lead, mentor, train, and hold Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers accountable for project performance and company expectations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for GC operations and project management.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, forecasts, job costs, profitability, and overall performance.
  • Establish consistency and accountability across project teams, processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Review and provide guidance on contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and project risks.
  • Partner with field leadership to support manpower, equipment, procurement, scheduling, and project execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure project teams comply with company safety, quality, contractual, and operational standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, profitability, and overall GC operations.
  • Support staffing, project planning, and other operational initiatives as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including 5+ years in a Project Management role.
  • Procore experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience managing multiple commercial, industrial, municipal, or government construction projects.
  • Proven experience developing, implementing, and improving SOPs, processes, and accountability systems.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and project controls.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, mentor, and develop Project Managers.
  • Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management technology.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
