Full Job Description
Position Summary:

EV Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management team. This role will oversee complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion, with responsibility for project financials, schedule, contracts, and overall project performance. The Senior Project Manager will own the project, providing direction and accountability throughout every phase of construction while working closely with the project team, client, design team, and trade partners. The ideal candidate will have significant healthcare and/or senior living construction experience in the West Michigan market.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasting, invoicing, pay applications, and project profitability.
  • Coordinate project schedules, contracts, changes, and project documentation.
  • Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, suppliers, and EV teams to keep projects moving forward.
  • Identify and resolve project risks, conflicts, and challenges while maintaining client and trade relationships.
  • Participate in preconstruction, estimating, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
  • Support and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other project team members.
  • Uphold and ensure adherence to EV's Safety and Quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent EV Construction with professionalism and integrity while fostering strong, lasting client relationships.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience with proven success leading complex projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architectural technology, engineering, or related field.
  • Healthcare and/or Senior Living construction experience in West Michigan is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess advanced knowledge and expertise in all phases of commercial construction, including design coordination, contract and subcontract administration, preconstruction planning and estimating, project scheduling and cost management, change management, construction execution, closeout, and turnover.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam or Adobe.
