Position OverviewThe Senior Program Manager provides strategic leadership for the planning, design, construction, and execution of complex healthcare facility projects from concept through occupancy. This role serves as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives and organizational leaders, guiding project teams through all phases of development while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare project leader who excels at managing large-scale initiatives, developing teams, and fostering long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex healthcare facility projects through planning, design, construction, and occupancy
- Serve as a strategic advisor to healthcare executives, administrators, and project stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and overall project performance
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Oversee project planning, design development, procurement, and construction activities
- Direct contract negotiations, change management processes, and project quality assurance initiatives
- Prepare and present executive-level project updates, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations
- Mentor and develop Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers while supporting organizational growth
- Promote Meadows & Ohly through thought leadership, industry engagement, and client relationship development
Requirements
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required
- Minimum 10 years of healthcare project management, healthcare construction, or development experience
- Experience leading large-scale healthcare projects and multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong knowledge of healthcare planning, design, construction, project delivery, and regulatory processes
- Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, contract negotiations, risk management, and cost control
- Strong leadership, client relationship management, and team development skills
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; e-Builder or similar project management software preferred
- Experience working directly with healthcare executives and senior organizational leaders
