We are seeking an experienced
Construction Manager III to support major terminal modernization and capital improvement projects at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
*Salary Range: $175K/Year-$190K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's QualificationsKey Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day construction activities for major airport improvement projects
- Coordinate with contractors, designers, consultants, and airport stakeholders
- Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety performance
- Review construction plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Support project planning, phasing, commissioning, testing, and turnover activities
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and project coordination efforts
- Identify project risks and develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget goals
- Monitor contractor performance and construction progress
- Assist with the resolution of field issues and construction challenges
- Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to leadership teams
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and collaboration
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For- 10+ years of construction management experience
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects in active operating environments
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
- Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and contractors
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications- Airport, aviation, transportation, or other large public infrastructure project experience
- Experience supporting projects valued at $100 million or greater
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CMAR delivery methods
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus
