Full Job Description
The Sr. Compensation Consultant will provide advanced subject matter expertise and compensation consulting to enable Total Rewards, HR and enterprise strategies. They will act strategically and proactively to provide solutions to a wide range of compensated related issues and to deliver compensation programs and initiatives. They will play a key role in supporting business partners and leaders through Clorox’s compensation cyclical processes and core compensation principles, including job evaluation, pay recommendations, training and analysis. In this role, you will: • Serves as a strategic thought partner, using deep technical and subject matter expertise, industry best practices and internal insights to consult HR Business Partners and senior leaders. • Provides effective counsel and relays implications of options, influencing key decision makers. Supports HR Business Partners and business leaders in the delivery of compensation processes, programs and business initiatives, including mid-year and annual compensation review processes, pay equity, market analyses, job evaluation, salary recommendations and more. • Performs industry research, analysis and reporting to ensure market competitiveness; analyzes complex data & problem solves in service of business initiatives, with the understanding of implications to overall priorities. • Proactively identifies and recommends areas of improvement and takes initiative to drive them to resolution. • Reviews, recommends, implements and supports appropriate compensation and Total Rewards solutions with the goal of enhancing the employee experience. • Leads various compensation ad-hoc projects and analyses, as required. What we look for: • 5 plus years of diverse compensation experience in support of a variety of client functions; in-depth knowledge on core compensation philosophies and principles. • Experience in manufacturing compensation across geographic locations is required. • Previous exposure to international and sales compensation preferred. • Advanced analytical and technical skills, including data wrangling, analysis and visualization • Strong consultative, negotiation and interpersonal skills; strong business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity to effectively consult and recommend creative solutions to unique challenges • Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to synthesize technical concepts to relatable language that is in service of business needs. • Executes team objectives & adopts change management principles • Self-starter with the ability to make decisions independently with minimal supervision • Establishes strong working relationships and works well with others in a team environment • Knowledge of Workday preferred #LI-HYBRID Workplace type: Hybrid- 3 days in office; 2 days WFH [U.S.]Additional Information: At Clorox, we champion people to be well and thrive, starting with our own people. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area. –Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900 –Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900 –Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800 All ranges are subject to change in the future. This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
