Job Summary and Qualifications
The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the Compensation function by administering incentives, annual increases, project management of compensation initiatives, and assisting with HR inquiries.
What you will do in this role:- Lead compensation analytics and modeling in support of union negotiations
- Assist in implementing and executing negotiated compensation programs in unionized facilities
- Partner with Compensation Directors to provide compensation policies and practices guidance to Leaders, Managers and HR Business Partners
- Analyze internal salary structures and provide guidance as necessary on changes to grade assignments
- Independently resolve complex inquiries that arise related to the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs, policies, practices and processes to support business needs
- Lead compensation initiatives or projects
- Lead parts of salary planning process
- Lead parts of the budget process
- Lead calculation and incentive payment process
- Identify and analyze business problems and devise procedures and solutions to the problems
- Leads compensation related meetings
- Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify need and create ad hoc reporting and analysis to assist with solution identification
- Leads compensation transaction approval process via Lawson in-basket
- Cash incentive administration
- Annual increase administration
- Compensation communication strategies
What qualifications you will need:- Bachelor's degree Required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience Required
