Senior Compensation Analyst (Experienced Professional)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation & Total Rewards team and help support compensation programs, workforce cost planning, and market analysis across North America.

In this role, we rely on you to help administer key compensation programs, provide data-driven insights, support annual planning and forecasting activities, and partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to make informed compensation decisions.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and translating complex information into practical recommendations. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

Compensation Program Administration

  • Administer and maintain core compensation programs, including merit increases, incentive plans, market adjustments, living wage initiatives, and union-related compensation programs.
  • Ensure programs are executed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Support annual compensation review cycles and related processes.

Compensation Consulting & Support

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
  • Evaluate compensation requests using market data, internal guidelines, and established compensation practices.
  • Recommend solutions for routine compensation issues and support implementation of approved actions.

Compensation Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct market pricing, pay equity, workforce, and compensation analyses.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to support compensation decisions.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Workforce Cost Planning & Forecasting

  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and compensation accrual processes.
  • Validate and reconcile compensation and workforce cost data across systems.
  • Assist with workforce cost reporting and financial planning activities.

Program Implementation & Process Improvement

  • Support the rollout of new compensation programs and enhancements.
  • Document processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Ensure compensation processes remain compliant and well-documented.

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Contribute to team documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support colleagues by providing expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

What You Will Bring

Required

  • 4+ years of compensation analysis experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, salary structures, incentive programs, and market pricing practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience using compensation management tools such as MarketPay, CompAnalyst, BetterComp, or similar platforms.

Preferred

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or progress toward certification.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Workday Compensation or other HRIS compensation modules.
