Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Commodity Lumber Trader to join our team. This role is responsible for driving sales and managing key North American customers for our Eastern SPF (Spruce-Pine-Fir) lumber produced in Ontario and New Brunswick, Canada.

What You'll Do
  • Drive SPF, Eastern Spruce sales growth by hitting targets, minimizing inventory, and identifying new market opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that maximize margins and align with customer and market demands
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, team members, and key stakeholders
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform decisions and uncover growth potential
  • Ensure smooth operations by supporting credit standards, optimizing logistics, and improving delivery performance
  • Gain hands-on experience through sales office rotations and actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives
