Job Description

An experienced Software Engineer to support development, integration, transition planning, and acceptance testing activities for the Iron Patriot program. An engineer who can help transform our customer's enterprise by identifying and delivering efficiencies to the ops environment.

We are looking for candidates who can utilize state of the art commercial best practices such as Agile, DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, security etc), distributed CM, and modern development tools.

Our new team member will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance with a focus on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices.

As a member of our high-performing team our new team member must be passionate and focused on the mission and system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities.

They must also demonstrate effective communication skills and a desire to have fun with work as the position may require frequent internal interactions with teammates in other geographical locations and demos to customer and users.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Direct understanding and tangible experience with software/systems engineering development life cycle efforts using Agile methods, processes and practices.

Demonstrated strong background in full lifecycle of Software and/or Systems Engineering

• Privileged User (Active Security+ certification)
• Relevant SW Systems Development Experience(Java or C#)
• Unit Test and Verification Experience
• Experience supporting peer reviews
• Active TS clearance with SCI access needed to meet the requirements set forth by our customer.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment\Automated Testing\DevSecOps Pipeline

Desired Skills

• Integration
• Acceptance testing (verification and validation experience)
• Experience with agile management practices
• Experience leading and contributing to software systems using modern practices, tools, technologies and languages. .
  • AWS certifications/experience

Processes\Methods:

• Scrum\SAFe\Agile experience

Tech\Tools\Methods:

• Experience with Cloud frameworks (ex. AWS/C2S/S2P)
• Experience with test tools (ex. Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, TestRail)
• Experience with documentation systems: (ex. Wikis, Confluence etc.)
• Experience with Build/Deploy/Install tools(ex. Gradel/Maven/Docker/Chef/Puppet)
• Experience with Vulnerability tools(ex. Fortify)
• Experience with software CM tools(ex. Git, Subversion, etc).
