Full Job Description
You Are:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect Senior Manager with technical expertise, strong business analysis, and customer engagement skills in support of a vital national security mission. You will help design cloud architecture and hybrid solutions, provide application support for customer requirements, and make recommendations based on both business analysis and technical acumen. The Senior Cloud Architect should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop various solutions to address computing, storage solutions, security measures, networking, and automation capabilities. They will should also have the expertise in design, deployment, and management of AWS Cloud environments.

The Work:
  • Lead large technical initiatives and coordinate closely with development teams and project management
  • Provide systems engineering, orchestration, and administrative support for many multi-cloud environments
  • Assist technical delivery teams with the optimization of cloud system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning
  • Utilize Agile Scrum frameworks and methodologies in daily execution
  • Assist the team by advising level of complexity and effort of technical implementation details
  • Interface with customers executing large programs, sometimes supporting multiple vendors, government, and military personnel, that require various communication and collaboration mechanisms to meet mission objective
  • Advise more junior team members on proper implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems and environments
  • Assist with workload management, patch management, active directory management, onboarding, and any other troubleshooting, as required
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Maintain a customer-centric mindset with demonstrated passion for delivering customer value
  • Balance multiple projects and be able to prioritize work to meet customer's needs
  • Ability to bring innovative technical solution ideas to customer problems

Here's What You Need:
  • 5+ years experience engineering and administrating IT systems hosted within AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP
  • 5+ years of experience working with Linux or Windows Operating Systems
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading integrated project teams
  • 3+ years of cloud architecture experience
  • Professional Level Certification in AWS or Azure
  • IAT Level III or IASAE II Certification
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Understanding of Orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Terraform
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying Infrastructure as Code within a cloud environment
  • Must have a TS/SCI, eligible for CI Poly

  • 15+ years of industry experience
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, ITIL, or CISSP.
  • Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
  • Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
  • Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent people management and relationship development skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Accenture delivery methodologies and practices
  • Commercial or Private git experience
  • Experience with DevOps (configuration management (Ansible (preferred), Chef, or Puppet), application deployment, security)
  • Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • General understanding of Networking principles
  • Understand at a deep level the structure and distribution of computing resources in Cloud Service Providers, such as AWS, Azure, OCI, Google
  • Able to analyze and prioritize usage to most efficiently allocate funds and resources for the necessary workloads

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
