Senior Client Success Manager
Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our clients by acting as a frontline liaison to users of our cutting-edge software platform. Day-to-day, you can expect to:
- Cultivate, manage, and expand relationships with Virtual Peaker's innovative utility client network while maintaining a personal touch with every interaction
- Oversee program rollouts and guide coordination and project management as Virtual Peaker grows its client portfolio
- Collaborate with the Sales, Development, Marketing, Product, and our manufacturer network to ensure consistent expectation setting, project execution, product positioning, and contract expansion
- Improve internal processes to track, manage, and respond to client questions, product feedback, and requests with an emphasis on friendly responsivity and proactive engagement
- Contribute directly to the development of strategies to meet internal growth targets and the development of the department's client satisfaction scores, standard operating procedures, and other key indicators for success
- Coordinate with team members and departments to prioritize clients-reported issues and demands and maintain clear communication with clients
- Other duties, as assigned, that further aid Virtual Peaker in building the utility of the future
Education & Experience
Candidate will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, customer service, sales, account management, project management, or a combination thereof
- Energy/Utility industry experience required
- Strong understanding of the utility/energy space
- Impeccable attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience and knowledge of how distributed energy resources (DERs) can be connected, controlled, and leveraged to modernize and green the electric grid
- Experience working within a web-based CRM ecosystem such as Salesforce, or Hubspot.
- Experience with Google Suite, Slack, and other online collaboration tools
- A collaborative and growth-oriented mindset that thrives when quickly learning new things
- A sense of ownership and pride in one's performance and impact on the company's success
- A critical mind and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
