The Senior Client Advocate

The Senior Client Advocate provides strategic relationship management, leveraging specialized industry expertise and deep market knowledge to develop tailored risk management strategies for clients. This role will primarily support Real Estate clients and portfolios, serving as a trusted advisor to real estate owners, operators, developers, investors, and related organizations. The successful candidate will help clients quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk while delivering exceptional service and long-term value.

The Role

The Senior Client Advocate is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of Real Estate clients, including the development and execution of insurance and risk management strategies tailored to the unique challenges of the real estate industry. This role is accountable for coordinating WTW resources to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' insurance and risk management needs.

The Senior Client Advocate must be able to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Retain and grow an existing Real Estate book of business, strengthening client relationships and serving as a strategic advisor.
  • Identify, engage, and coordinate WTW resources to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Provide strategic planning and risk management consulting services to Real Estate clients, collaborating with WTW practice, industry, and resource groups.
  • Recommend appropriate insurance and risk management solutions throughout the policy lifecycle, including acquisition due diligence and transactional activities.
  • Ensure Group policy requirements, including legal, regulatory, and compliance standards, are met.
  • Partner with Broking teams to leverage analytical tools and market insights that support client objectives.
  • Design, prepare, negotiate, and deliver fee and compensation agreements.
  • Develop and deliver client presentations, proposals, advocacy reports, Engagement 365 service plans, and stewardship reviews.
  • Maximize account profitability while ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Broking teams to stay informed of market developments and emerging Real Estate industry trends.
  • Build and strengthen market relationships in partnership with Broking and Sales colleagues.
  • Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including coordination across line-of-business teams and document ownership.
  • Drive the annual renewal process, establishing and executing client-specific renewal strategies in partnership with WTW practice and industry groups.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support an exceptional client experience.


Qualifications

The Requirements
  • 10+ years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience in a client-facing role, with experience serving Real Estate clients, portfolios, or books of
    business strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the commercial insurance renewal process from strategy development through placement.
  • Strong understanding of insurance coverage forms and the ability to identify coverage gaps, analyze program design, and provide ongoing coverage consultation.
  • Ability to leverage internal and external relationships to deliver tailored WTW solutions while effectively managing conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret, analyze, and present models and data.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to develop creative solutions, build stakeholder consensus, and close complex transactions.
  • Knowledge of client strategy, risk management solutions, and market trends within the Real Estate sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation of complex or technical discussions.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including driving change, leading projects, collaborating across teams, and mentoring colleagues.
  • Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert to team members.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • P&C Insurance License required.
  • Some travel required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $200,000 - $275,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
