GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Client Accountant Specialist provides outstanding service to our clients by maintaining an accurate, complete, and up-to-date general ledger for an assigned group of clients. This role oversees the full scope of a client's day-to-day financial operations, including bill pay and accounts payable processing, payroll submission, bank reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements and cash flow reports. The Sr. Client Accountant Specialist also serves as a trusted point of contact for clients, building deep familiarity with each client's financial picture while working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality across all accounts.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients' daily financial activities, managing requests, follow-ups, and routine transaction coordination; develop deep familiarity with each client's financial affairs to anticipate needs and provide proactive support.
  • Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping (AP/AR, journal entry coding, general ledger maintenance) and monitor client cash positions and income activity to ensure accurate, timely records.
  • Submit, monitor, and review payroll for assigned client entities, foundations, and household employees.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize monthly and year-end financial statements, cash flow reports, and financial reporting packages for clients.
  • Monitor credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit-related matters, as well as insurance policies, renewals, and claims activity.
  • Support clients with major financial transactions, including real estate purchases, vehicle purchases, and related financing activities.
  • Coordinate year-end tax reporting (Forms 1099, W-2, 1042) and assist with tax planning and preparation of individual and entity tax returns.
  • Partner with internal team members, advisors, and external service providers to resolve issues and support client objectives
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.


EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS
  • High School diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • 4 plus years of experience in accounting, business management, and/or working with high-net-worth individuals
  • 1 plus years of experience working in AgilLink, Datafaction, and/or QuickBooks preferred
