Job Description

Join our growing team as a Senior Claims Adjuster for a Global Hospitality Client. In this remote role, you'll apply your expertise to meaningful work and play an important role in delivering exceptional service when it matters most.

As a desk adjuster, you'll help customers move through the claims process with confidence by combining sound judgment, clear communication, and a solutions-focused approach. This role offers the opportunity to manage claims from first review through resolution while building strong technical, client service, and decision-making skills.

Salary range is from 75,000 to 100,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Desktop Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
  • Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
  • Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum
  • Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records


Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of technical experience handling Bodily Injury Claims and Commercial General Liability
  • Experience with medical malpractice claims
  • Post Secondary education in an insurance related field will be considered an asset
  • CIP designation or working towards CIP designation is required
  • Independent Adjuster Licensed with ability to maintain a full adjusting license in your home province. Multiple provincial licenses is preferred.
  • Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365 and Windows 10
  • A team player with outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical ability
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong PC skills including application based skills
  • Complete continuing education courses as required by Crawford and Company, province, or professional trade association
