Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of design experience in EPC or consulting industry preferred.
• Active P.Eng. status in Alberta and/or BC.
• Experience with site grading and roadway design an asset.
• Strong understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using codes and professional experience.
• Scope out projects and establish objectives with lead engineers.
• Coordinate work with mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Produce sketches for incorporation into technical models and drawings.
• Provide construction support by reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
• Develop construction cost estimates for projects.
• Organize and draft technical documents.
