Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Spokane, Washington
Salary: $80,000-$135,000 plus year-end bonus

The RoleAs a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects from initial planning through design and construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing project scope, schedules and budgets.
- Leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects.
- Preparing and reviewing engineering plans, specifications, technical reports and cost estimates.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and project staff.
- Coordinating with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Supporting construction administration and oversight when required.
- Maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contributing to business-development activities, including proposals and client engagement.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately and to the required quality standards.
Project TypesYou will have the opportunity to lead a varied portfolio of public- and private-sector projects, including:
- Municipal water-distribution systems.
- Sanitary sewer collection systems.
- Water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Stormwater infrastructure.
- Roads and highways.
- Subdivision and land-development projects.
- Commercial site design.
- Federal government and military infrastructure projects.
Candidate RequirementsThe successful candidate will ideally possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- At least five years of professional civil engineering experience.
- A Washington Professional Engineer licence or the ability to obtain one within two years.
- Experience managing civil engineering projects, including scope, schedule and budget responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge across municipal infrastructure, land development or related civil engineering disciplines.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior engineering staff.
- Experience managing client relationships and contributing to business-development activities.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- A detail-oriented, self-motivated and collaborative approach.
- Previous experience living or working in Washington would be advantageous but is not essential.

Compensation and BenefitsThe position offers a salary of
$80,000-$135,000, depending on experience, education and qualifications, in addition to an annual performance bonus.
