Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Spokane, Washington

Salary: $80,000-$135,000 plus year-end bonus

The Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects from initial planning through design and construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing project scope, schedules and budgets.
  • Leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects.
  • Preparing and reviewing engineering plans, specifications, technical reports and cost estimates.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and project staff.
  • Coordinating with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Supporting construction administration and oversight when required.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contributing to business-development activities, including proposals and client engagement.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately and to the required quality standards.

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • At least five years of professional civil engineering experience.
  • A Washington Professional Engineer licence or the ability to obtain one within two years.
  • Experience managing civil engineering projects, including scope, schedule and budget responsibilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge across municipal infrastructure, land development or related civil engineering disciplines.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior engineering staff.
  • Experience managing client relationships and contributing to business-development activities.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • A detail-oriented, self-motivated and collaborative approach.
  • Previous experience living or working in Washington would be advantageous but is not essential.
