Senior Catering Manager, you're not just overseeing the planning and execution of catered events, you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make every guest stay exceptional. This position requires a tenured hospitality professional with demonstrated Hotel Group & Catering Sales Manager experience and a proven history of success driving group and catering revenue in a full-service hotel environment.
ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Grow catering market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
- Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
- Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
- Oversee event coordination: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
- Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service
