A Day in the Life:As a Senior Category Analyst, you will turn abstract information from data into succinct and understandable visualizations to improve business insights pertaining to sales, sales support, and overall field execution. Design, develop, implement, and maintain reporting for teams within the sales organization as well as our bottling network.
The Impact You'll Make: - Understand, develop, and maintain data visualization in Power BI to be used to product ongoing weekly, monthly, yearly reports including Shipments, Depletions, Distribution, Nielsen, Survey data and more.
- Work with large datasets (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Google Analytics, SAP) as applicable to drive analytic, graphical, and reporting solutions.
- Understanding of SharePoint objects such as Lists, Folders, and Online Lists.
- Help drive business stakeholder adoption of insights-driven decision making and/or business process innovation. Understand business analytics with strong communication skills to help stakeholders understand and leverage the insights hidden within their data.
- Become subject matter expert on all sales data and employ tools such as R and Python to find hidden insights within the data.
- Working with IT and other departments with our metadata to maintain user access, hierarchy and security.
- Data cleansing exercises, either through manual update or data load to address issue areas.
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Present interpretation and insight to senior management, sales operations and the entire North American salesforce
- Develop and maintain all documentation for report development and enhancements.
Who You Are:- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Analytics, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in business analytics, category management tools
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in Sales, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry preferred
- Computer Skills Desired: Power BI, SQL, Fabric, Tableau, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPTX)
- Preferred Certifications: Category Management Association - Certified Professional Category Analyst certification desired or Certificates/Training in Visualization
