Role descriptionUST is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Senior Camunda + Java Engineer .
The opportunity:
- Design Workflows: Build and optimize process models and decision tables using BPMN 2.0 and DMN
- Backend Development: Develop robust backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- System Integration: Connect workflow engines with enterprise systems via REST APIs, messaging queues, and connectors
- Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
- Producing detailed design documentation.
- Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
- Developing multimedia applications.
- Developing documentation to assist users.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, C++
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Core Languages: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11 or higher).
- Frameworks: Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
- Camunda Expertise: Hands-on experience with Camunda Platform 7 or Camunda 8, BPMN 2.0, and DMN.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka
- Good exposure to microservices architecture, cloud technologies
- Experience in designing and building scalable, distributed applications
- Experience in product development would be a plus
- Experience in eCommerce projects
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range: $82,000 - $123,000
