Full Job Description
Overview

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a Senior Campus Manager to join our team in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Senior Director, Infrastructure & Standards, the Senior Campus Manager leads the full workplace, facilities, and site operations experience at the Calgary campus — a significant hub within Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions business area and home to some of its largest teams, including hardware engineering for positioning technology. This role is the operational foundation upon which the teams and divisions based in Calgary build their daily performance. The Campus Manager is not required to hold deep technical expertise in facilities systems; rather, the role demands the ability to identify, attract, and hold accountable the right technical specialists — HVAC engineers, security professionals, facilities contractors, and workplace teams — and to create the conditions in which those experts perform at their best. The role carries direct leadership of a team of 4-6 professionals across facilities, security, and workplace services.

The scope of the role spans two buildings and encompasses facilities programme management, controlled goods compliance, physical security, visitor and reception management, space planning, and the overall campus employee experience.

The Location: This position is based in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities

As Senior Campus Manager you will be responsible for these activities:

  • Owns outcomes across the operational management of two buildings, including HVAC, maintenance, and environmental systems — achieved through hiring, developing, and holding accountable the right technical specialists and contractors
  • Ensures facility reliability, compliance and operational continuity across engineering, production, and office environments, with zero-surprise delivery as the standard
  • Leads capital and operational planning for all site infrastructure, partnering with GBS functions to align investment with business priorities
  • Directs office moves, space planning, and seating re-configurations to optimise collaboration and productivity across divisions
  • Directs the physical security programme including access control, video monitoring, and on-site guard services
  • Oversees the reception function and establishes protocols for high-level visitor engagement and executive security
  • Builds and maintains security frameworks appropriate to a globally significant engineering and manufacturing campus
  • Maintain compliance to security standards including Canadian Controlled Goods Directorate, NIST 800-171, CMMC and TISAX.
  • Partners with P&C, business units, and divisional leadership to ensure the campus environment reflects and reinforces Hexagon’s culture and values
  • Leads, develops, and holds accountable a multidisciplinary team of 4-6 professionals across facilities management, security operations, and workplace services — hiring for deep expertise and developing capability continuously
  • Manages vendor, contractor, and specialist partner relationships — setting clear expectations, measuring performance, and holding partners to Hexagon’s standards
  • Ensures all compliance obligations, safety certifications, and regulatory requirements for the site are current and met at all times
  • Works with Crisis Management Team to maintain and test campus-level crisis management and business continuity plans, ensuring the site can respond effectively to emergencies, critical incidents, and unplanned disruptions
  • Acts as the primary site lead during local crisis events — coordinating response across facilities, security, HSE, and divisional leadership with clarity and composure
  • Oversees the planning and operational delivery of campus events — from internal all-hands and leadership offsites to customer visits and external engagements — ensuring every event reflects the standard of the Hexagon brand
  • Manages catering providers and hospitality services, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and value across daily campus services and event-specific requirements

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities, campus, or site operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Degree or Diploma in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing complex, multi-building sites with diverse operational requirements across office, production, and engineering environments
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage specialist contractors and vendor relationships at scale
  • Experience in or adjacent to manufacturing, engineering, or controlled-environment operations is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), physical security platforms, or smart building applications is advantageous

Nice to Have:

  • Professional certification in Facilities Management (CFM, IFMA) or Project Management (PMP) is preferred

  • Strong communication ability across different levels of a business
