In the role of Senior CAD/BIM Lead, we'll count on you to: • Perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques • Perform Redline corrections and develop design drawings from initial sketches • Take responsibility for drawing layout • Work independently with occasional advice from your supervisor • Direct efforts of less-experienced CADD Technicians as needed • Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree • Preference given to candidates currently residing in the Mid-Atlantic (VA/MD/DC) Area *LI-MJ1 Due to client contract requirements, naturalized US citizenship is required. This position is subject to a governmental background check. Qualifications Required Qualifications • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience • A minimum of 5 years working as a CAD Technician • Proficiency using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and InRoads • Experience using Microsoft Office in production workflows • Ability to be a lead technician and work closely with less experienced CADD Staff • Strong attention to detail and organization skills • Intermediate or Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows, and deliverables • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
