To strengthen our Supply Chain team, our Indianapolis Plant is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer who will lead strategic procurement and inventory optimization within our manufacturing environment, ensuring uninterrupted supply while balancing demand variability, safety stock strategy, warehouse capacity, and working capital performance.

Your Role

  • You will develop and execute inventory strategies for paper, RPS film, and RPS paper label stock to ensure reliable material availability
  • You are ambitious in balancing working capital targets with customer service requirements while optimizing inventory turns and protecting production continuity
  • You will collaborate closely with Planning and Customer Service to anticipate demand changes and proactively adjust purchasing based on volume swings or program shifts
  • You are committed to building and managing strong strategic supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and lead times, and monitoring on-time-in-full and quality performance
  • You will lead Vendor Managed Inventory programs and oversee replenishment performance to support operational flow
  • You are ambitious in identifying supply risks early, developing contingency plans, and ensuring all materials consistently meet pharmaceutical regulatory and quality requirements


Your Profile

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
  • You bring five or more years of procurement experience, ideally within paper, film, label, or pharmaceutical packaging environments
  • You have a strong understanding of inventory strategy and working capital management, with the ability to balance service levels and financial targets
  • You are experienced in managing vendor relationships and leading Vendor Managed Inventory programs
  • You are confident working within ERP systems, preferably EBS or comparable platforms
  • You demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and use data effectively to support sound purchasing decisions
