Job Summary

The Red Hat Global Sales Incentives team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join us. In this role, you will assist in the improvement and automation of business processes and tooling. You'll be required to possess a high degree of direction and to think and act in an autonomous and motivated fashion while also staying coordinated with and connected to all improvement efforts of the team. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will engage with Global and Regional Sales Incentives teams and across IT, Sales, Sales Operation and Finance teams to submit and prioritize Business Requirements. This will require ability to understand and map complex processes, data flow, sales incentives design and calculations in order to lead requirements, testing, delivery, deployment and enablement activities.

What you will do:
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into requirement documents and support technical specifications
  • Analyze current business processes, suggest improvements, identify inefficiencies, and participate in the implementation of enhancements
  • Work with global and cross functional teams to ensure training material and process documents are completed and aligned with new and changing initiatives
  • Lead testing initiatives as well execute entire testing processes (including for example, documenting test steps, execute tests scripts, configure and manage test data, document defects and report on test status)
  • Understand business and technical processes in order to support application and technical and configuration teams
  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders and manage relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date


What you will bring:
  • Experience with requirement gathering, process mapping, testing and managing applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and solve complex problems independently
  • Organized with the ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once
  • Experience working with global and cross-functional teams with multiple time zones
  • Experience with and passion for implementing change and continual improvement


The following are considered a plus:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field
  • Previous experience with Incentives Compensation Management tools (Varicent) is preferred
  • Experience in other sales tools like Salesforce Cloud, Snowflake, Tableau, etc
  • 10+ years of work experience in a similar position

The salary range for this position is $99,250.00 - $158,780.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
