Full Job Description
Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is hiring a Senior Business Finance Manager at our Sturgeon Bay, WI or Green Bay, WI locations.

Based in Green Bay, there will be frequent travel to both locations.

Position Summary

The Senior Business Finance Manager is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business support activities to ensure accurate financial information and effective financial management for the assigned business unit. This position provides leadership and guidance to finance professionals, oversees budgeting and forecasting activities, and analyzes financial performance to support business decisions. This position collaborates to ensure financial objectives, controls, procedures, and reporting requirements are consistently achieved.

This is a leadership position with direct management of employees.

Domestic and international travel may be required.

Essential Functions
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, EAC, and financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial information
  • Analyze financial performance, including revenue, costs, variances, forecasts, KPIs, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Maintain financial controls, procedures, and reporting in compliance with company policies and applicable requirements
  • Monitor project financial performance and EVMS compliance, including EAC implementation and ERP reporting
  • Partner with Program Management, Finance, and functional leaders to identify unfavorable trends, develop corrective actions, and drive cost-saving initiatives
  • Lead financial process improvements and ERP/business system transformation initiatives to improve reporting, efficiency, and decision-making
  • Provide financial analysis, presentations, and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders


Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and accounting
  • Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data and identify trends and variances
  • Ability to develop financial models and evaluate investment to support business decisions
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
  • Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; employee recognition and discipline; resolving employee concerns; and developing employees with the skills, competencies, and values needed to achieve Company goals

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
