About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to develop and maintain the physical design standards that bring branch strategies and customer experiences to life. This role is responsible for creating and applying design standards across furniture, finishes, lighting, signage, privacy solutions, environmental design, and other physical elements that shape the customer and employee experience across the branch network.

Working closely with Physical Design, Architecture, Construction, Operations, Corporate Properties, external consultants, manufacturers, and suppliers, this individual contributor will translate branch strategy and experience objectives into scalable, implementation-ready design solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong design expertise with a practical understanding of operational, cost, quality, and brand considerations to ensure consistency, functionality, and efficiency across new builds, renovations, and future branch formats.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop, document, maintain, and apply branch interior and exterior design standards under the direction of the Physical Design Leader.
  • Create design concepts, palettes, specifications, application guides, and presentation materials for furniture, finishes, lighting, color, signage, privacy solutions, environmental elements, and exterior applications.
  • Translate approved branch strategies, customer journeys, and experience objectives into practical design solutions and implementation-ready standards.
  • Support space planning and environmental design decisions that improve customer and employee usability, accessibility, privacy, comfort, and consistency.
  • Participate in design reviews and quality assurance activities to identify application gaps, document findings, and recommend solutions.
  • Support pilots, prototypes, research activities, and rollout of new design components and standards.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from leaders, branch employees, customers, project teams, and delivery partners to inform design recommendations.
  • Research emerging retail, hospitality, workplace, materials, furnishings, and environmental design trends and recommend relevant opportunities.
  • Develop test approaches for new materials, products, concepts, and design solutions in partnership with the Physical Design Leader
  • Coordinate multiple design workstreams, track decisions and deliverables, and communicate changes to affected partners.
  • Partner with consultants, manufacturers, and FF&E suppliers to evaluate products, alternatives, samples, specifications, and implementation considerations.
  • Present design intent, options, recommendations, and standards clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Use a solution-first approach to interpret requests and feedback, clarify the underlying need, and propose practical design responses.


Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of interior design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 4+ years of experience designing retail, hospitality, workplace, financial services, or other customer-facing environments.
  • 3+ years of experience developing or maintaining design standards, specifications, finish palettes, FF&E packages, or application guides.
  • 3+ years of experience applying furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, signage, environmental design, space planning, or related interior design solutions.


Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of interior design experience, including experience within retail, hospitality, workplace, financial services, or other customer-facing environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Professional interior design certification or industry-recognized credential.
  • Experience supporting pilot programs, prototype environments, material evaluations, mockups, or design validation initiatives.
  • Experience working in a large, matrixed, or regulated organization.
  • Experience using customer insights, employee feedback, research, or competitive assessments to inform design recommendations.
  • Experience managing relationships and deliverables with design consultants, manufacturers, vendors, or FF&E suppliers


Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule based on team and business needs.
