Serving as a trusted strategic advisor to practice leadership, this role requires a deep understanding of the practice, its clients, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and advance initiatives that drive sustained revenue and profitability.
The role in action: - Develop focused business development and marketing plans aligned with practice and firm priorities, including clear goals and measurable outcomes. Meet regularly with partners on the progression of their business development plans.
- Partner with practice leadership to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive cross-selling efforts.
- Leverage competitive intelligence and industry trends to proactively position the practice and identify new business opportunities.
- Execute high-impact marketing initiatives, including pitches, intimate and large-scale events, client materials, digital content, and profile-raising activities to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate across marketing and client teams to align efforts, maximize impact, and support firmwide objectives.
We are seeking candidates who:- Bring 7+ years of experience in business development, marketing or other professional services settings; law firm experience preferred.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Demonstrate a high level of ownership, sound business judgment, and strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver polished, detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment.
