Full Job Description
Why this role exists

StructureCraft is running a multi-year digital transformation: replacing our ERP with Epicor Kinetic, building StructureCraftOS - our company-wide system of work - and laying the groundwork for analytics and AI-assisted operations. Process definition sits upstream of every ERP module, every integration, and every future automation.

Position summary

You will be the dedicated owner of StructureCraft's process architecture. You verify and govern the company process map as the single source of truth, and you hand verified process definitions to the ERP and StructureCraftOS configuration teams.

You take the mapping load off functional leads and subject-matter experts: they validate what you model - no new tools or standards for them to learn, at a low time cost to them. That matters, because they are carrying ERP training and design workshops at the same time. This is a senior, hands-on role: the map you own decides how our systems are configured and how the company runs.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the company process map end to end: the modeling standard, the process hierarchy, and the sign-off ritual - act as editor-in-chief of the single source of truth.
  • Verify every in-scope process with its function owner: facilitate working sessions, resolve open warnings and conflicts, and secure formal sign-off.
  • Model as-is and to-be processes in BPMN 2.0; establish and maintain SIPOC definitions and RACI assignments across finance, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and supply chain - today these are a structure to fill, not a set to maintain.
  • Link processes to systems and data: map each process to the systems that execute it and the data it owns or consumes; feed ERP configuration, integration design, and reporting requirements.
  • Operate and co-develop the Process Atlas, StructureCraft's own process platform: you are its daily superuser and content steward, and you shape its product backlog together with our software engineer.
  • Own StructureCraft's target-state process design and carry it into the ERP implementation: our implementation partner configures Epicor, they do not write our process definitions. You translate signed-off processes into configuration-ready form and hold StructureCraft's position in design and validation workshops.
  • Run the change discipline: keep the map current within 10 working days of any approved process or organizational change.
  • After go-live: own continuous improvement - measure process performance, capture improvement candidates, and govern to-be changes through the same sign-off ritual.
  • Helps transform the business processes into AI-centric system and drives hand-on configuration of AI agents built in various functions

Objectives for the first 12 months

  • Process maps for finance, project management, procurement, inventory and time verified and signed off by November 20, 2026, feeding the solution design blueprint due December 11, 2026.
  • Manufacturing process maps signed off by March 5, 2027; engineering process maps by March 26, 2027.
  • Every in-scope process carries a named owner and a formal sign-off - the count today is close to zero.
  • No ERP module enters configuration without a signed-off process behind it, through to Phase 1 go-live on June 1, 2027.
  • The process map is current within 10 working days of any change.

What we look for

  • 7+ years in business analysis, business-process management, or process architecture, including ownership of a company-level process model (not only single-project work).
  • Expert BPMN 2.0, EPC notations and confident command of process frameworks and hierarchies (APQC PCF or equivalent).
  • Cross-functional literacy: able to hold credible process conversations with finance, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and supply chain in the same week.
  • Engineer-to-order literacy: you can model a business where the bill of materials is an output of engineering rather than an input, where cost is captured against job cost codes, and where fabrication capacity rather than a routing drives the plan. Construction, manufacturing or engineer-to-order industry background is strongly preferred.
  • Systems and data literacy: ERP implementation exposure (any major platform) and a working understanding of master data, units of measure, item master and cost-code structures, integrations, and system-of-record thinking.
  • Strong facilitation: extracting, structuring, and closing process decisions with busy senior experts - at a low time cost to them.
  • Confidence to hold a position: you will mediate between how StructureCraft actually operates and an ERP's default assumptions, in the room with a senior implementation partner.
  • Writing discipline: procedures and definitions that people actually read and follow.
  • Comfortable working inside a bespoke, actively developed platform rather than a packaged BPM suite - our Atlas backlog lives in GitHub.

Nice to have

  • Engineering, Consulting and Construction process mapping, prefabricated structures exposure.
  • Epicor Kinetic or a comparable manufacturing / project ERP.
  • Lean / Six Sigma or equivalent process-improvement training.
  • Hands-on experience with process repositories and modeling tools.

Why join

  • A rare mandate: one owner for the entire company's process architecture, with executive sponsorship and a transformation program built around it.
  • Visible impact: your verified map directly decides how the ERP is configured and how the company operates after go-live.
  • A growth path into PMO leadership as the program matures.
