Job Summary
A Senior Business Advisor (BA) at MACU is expected to have a high level of business acumen. A BA should be considered an industry expert regarding the banking needs of small to medium sized businesses and act as an advisor accordingly. A BA will be expected to grow revenue through various methods while managing a specific allocated budget for their business development needs. This position will be under the Business Services department and report to a Business Services Sales Manager.

  • Act of a key advisor regarding the banking needs and treasury management needs.
  • Prospect for new qualified businesses within their market.
  • Be resourceful and strategic on more complex setups.
  • Manage existing relationships to ensure proper servicing of accounts and expansion.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Completion of high-quality applications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Displays collaborative behavior with internal and external partners that results in new business opportunities and an overall better member experience.
  • Able to successfully perform Business Reviews with business members using relationship skills centered around AAA, while offering product solutions accordingly.

Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience of business-to-business relationship management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field preferred. OR 5+ years combined with experience in a sales or relationship management.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Experience with fin-tech software preferred
  • Ability to demo MACU products and services both virtually and in person.
  • Strong ability to perform daily job tasks using video calling software. (Zoom, Teams, etc)


Language Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas, methodology, results and recommendations verbally, in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations
  • Demonstrated ability to document outcomes and present information in a manner appropriate for key stakeholders and all levels of the organization.
