About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Resource Program Analyst to provide financial management, budgeting, acquisition, and program analysis support for Special Operations Forces (SOF) programs. This position supports program managers and resource management leadership in planning, programming, budgeting, execution, and acquisition lifecycle activities for complex defense programs. 

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

This role provides comprehensive acquisition, program, and financial management support across the full program life cycle. Responsibilities include conducting financial and program analyses; supporting budget planning, formulation, execution, and financial reporting; developing life-cycle cost estimates, spend plans, acquisition strategies, and program support documentation; and contributing to key budget and planning processes. The position supports the development of requirements documentation, Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, and Performance Work Statements, while tracking procurement actions, monitoring program performance, and identifying risks, funding gaps, and programmatic issues. The role also provides subject matter expertise in financial management, cost analysis, and resource planning. Additionally, the position provides recommendations that enhance program execution, acquisition outcomes, and mission effectiveness.

 

Required Qualifications

Basic Education/Experience Requirement: The Contractor shall possess a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field (e.g. Accounting, etc.), as well as ten (10) years of general experience and six (6) years of relevant experience in a program or resource management office.Tradeoff Education/Experience Requirement: The Contractor shall possess a Bachelor’s degree or professional certificate in Finance, Business Management, , or a related field (e.g., Accounting, etc.), as well as twelve (12) years of general experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience in a program office.The Contractor shall possess five (5) years of experience supporting Financial Resource Management and DoD acquisition programs to include Annual Financial Planning & Execution and/or Planning, Programing, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE).The Contractor shall possess three (3) years of experience supporting SOF operations, resource management or acquisitions.The Contractor shall possess the equivalency of level III training in DODFM Certification.The Contractor shall possess familiarity with DoD Financial Management Regulations 7000.14R and SOCOM Financial Management Directives as they apply to SOCOM Directives 70-1 and 71-4, as well as all of the associated references listed within.

Desired Qualifications

DODFM Certification level III, Defense Finance & Accounting Services-Certified Management Accountant, Graduate of the Defense Resource Manager Course, Certified in Defense Fiscal LawFinancial Management expertise and coordination experience with the following:
