Job Title: Sr. Brand Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Reports To: Director of Brand Marketing
Compensation: $140,000 - $165,000 + bonus
The Senior Brand Manager will lead day-to-day brand stewardship across marketing communications, sales support, packaging, and product quality, ensuring Archer shows up consistently and compellingly across every consumer and retailer touchpoint.
This role will own the planning and execution of the brand's marketing communications, including advertising, shopper marketing, customer-specific marketing, and experiential programs, all in service of growing brand awareness, supporting key retail partners, and driving in-store velocity.
The Senior Brand Manager will serve as a connector across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance, working with those cross-functional partners to deliver against execution of the brand calendar, tentpole events, and packaging updates.
What You'll Own & Impact
Marketing Communications
• Identify new opportunities for the brand to reach consumers by staying up-to-date on emerging trends such as AEO/AI, the Creator Economy, and Paid Media, and make recommendations for vendor partnerships and working media spend
• Manage agency partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing communications plans, including brand calendars, content calendars, influencer updates, and asset trafficking
• Lead weekly creative reviews to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
Sales Support & Shopper Marketing
• Ensure comprehensive and frequent communication with Sales regarding the brand calendar, upcoming initiatives, and other key marketing updates
• Lead Go-To-Market planning to ensure new distribution wins are adequately supported with marketing activation
• Identify and execute shopper marketing programs designed to drive in-store velocity
Packaging & Display
• Manage pack design optimization and other packaging updates
• Lead development of new display shipper opportunities and partner with Sales on planning and execution
Public Relations
• Support the Brand Director with tactical execution of public relations plans
Product Quality
• Monitor consumer sentiment around the Archer brand and Archer products
• Conduct regular product cuttings to monitor Archer product quality, as well as competitive cuttings to keep the Marketing team informed on competitive offerings
• Lead product optimization and product improvement efforts in partnership with R&D
Cross-Functional & Organizational Impact
• Serve as the Marketing lead for Consumer Services issues and complaints
• Manage and update the Marketing budget, lead monthly reviews with Finance, and ensure the broader team regularly reviews and manages their respective areas
What Sets You Apart
• 6+ years of experience in Brand Management, CPG Marketing, or related disciplines
• Proven track record managing marketing communications and shopper marketing programs, with an emphasis on agency management
• Experience leading packaging design, in-store display development, and product innovation initiatives
• Strong understanding of retail and brand-building principles within food, beverage, or other CPG categories
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and partner cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and Finance
• Excellent project management, communication, and creative judgment skills
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
