The role supports biostatistical activities in clinical development - with a focus on early development (Phase IIa) and in causal inference using real-world data - and contributes to biomarker development, statistical modeling, and analysis of high-dimensional data. Title and scope are commensurate with experience. Reports to the VP of Biostatistics.
Responsibilities- Develop and apply statistical and machine-learning models to high-dimensional data to support biomarker strategy and clinical evidence generation.
- Work with multi-omic profiling, PK/PD biomarkers, and biobank- or EHR-linked genomic data
- Ability to apply human genetics methods (e.g., GWAS, polygenic risk scores, sequencing) to inform translational strategy is a plus.
- Generate real-world evidence from observational data and apply causal-inference methods to draw robust conclusions from non-randomized studies.
- Support the design and analysis of clinical trials and real-world data (claims, EHR, registries); contribute to protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans.
- Partner across translational science, early clinical research, Real-World Evidence generation, and contribute to publications and conferences.
Qualifications- Ph.D. in (Bio)statistics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent internship, co-op, or postdoctoral research).
