Do you have a successful track record representing clients and are you interested in mentoring the next generation of legal professionals? Our firm is seeking an experienced senior attorney who is adept at handling a large caseload and familiar with all aspects of the trial process, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, notices, and working toward a resolution. Responsibilities • Assist with the discovery process by conducting depositions, issuing interrogatories and requests for the production of documents, and reviewing discovery requests, responses, and responsive discovery materials. • Manage a litigation-forward family law caseload from early case strategy through resolution. • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery; analyze evidence and prepare litigation plans. • Prepare for and appear at hearings, temporary hearings, mediations, and trials. • Take and defend depositions; manage discovery disputes and motion practice. • Advise clients on legal strategy, likely outcomes, and next steps with clear, timely communication. • Collaborate with the firm's intake and operations team to maintain strong case momentum. • Maintain accurate timekeeping and documentation in the firm's case management system. • Negotiate client-focused resolutions and settlements.
