Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support the planning, design, execution, leadership, and continuous improvement of testing activities across business applications and technology platforms. This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional with strong manual testing skills, automation exposure, and the ability to serve as an Overall Test Lead by coordinating test strategy, execution readiness, defect management, risk communication, and stakeholder alignment across multiple teams. The candidate must be able to translate complex requirements into effective test cases and help ensure reliable, high-quality delivery through close collaboration with business, product, development, and QA partners.

What You'll Do:
• Review business, functional, and technical requirements to develop clear, comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Serve as the Overall Test Lead for assigned initiatives by coordinating test strategy, scope, planning, execution timelines, test readiness, and release validation activities.
• Lead testing coordination across QA, business, product, development, automation, and release teams to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform manual testing across applications, workflows, data validations, integrations, and end-to-end business processes.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases to validate system functionality, data accuracy, user experience, and regression coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects while partnering with development and product teams to drive timely resolution.
• Facilitate defect triage, escalate critical risks, and provide clear testing status, metrics, blockers, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support test automation efforts by creating, maintaining, or executing automated scripts using tools such as MABL, Orchestrator, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar platforms.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, readiness reviews, and release validation activities.
• Analyze test results, summarize testing progress, communicate risks, and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business partners, product owners, developers, and QA team members to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, documentation, and automation opportunities.

What You'll Bring:
• 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or quality engineering.
• Experience serving as an Overall Test Lead or lead QA coordinator for complex initiatives, including test planning, execution oversight, defect management, risk escalation, and release readiness reporting.
• Strong manual testing skills, including test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into clear, effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, PractiTest, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of automation tools or scripting languages such as MABL, Orchestrator, Java, JavaScript, C#, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar technologies.
• Experience validating APIs, data flows, system integrations, or batch processes is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document findings, explain testing outcomes, escalate risks, and present status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $81,000-$115,500

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
