  • Provide technical evaluations to ensure correct development methods and manage related risks within project scope.
  • Collaborate closely with client teams and supervisors related to asset management operations.

Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Customer & Operations for our Consulting practice. Responsibilities : • Support the delivery of large, complex public sector and state/local government engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology services for state/local government clients with a particular focus on transportation systems including IBM Maximo and Octave Attune. • Execute methodologies and solutions specific to the public sector and state/local government industry in the Enterprise Asset Management space. • Handle engagement risk, project economics, planning and budgeting, account receivables, and definition of deliverable content to help ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels • Maintain relationships with management at state/local government agencies and related commercial partners positioning self and the firm for opportunities to generate new business related to Enterprise Asset Management. • Evaluate projects from a technical stance, helping to ensure that the development methods used are correct and practical; evaluate risks related to requirements management, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training, and organizational change management • Work closely with client teams, client Asset Managers, and client supervisor/technician roles related to asset management operations Qualifications : • A minimum of three years of management consulting experience focused in the public sector and state/local government industry as a technical architect responsible for large scale application design and architecture preferably with a state/local government agency • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in technical sciences or information systems and/or related technical background / certifications in EAM • Demonstrated ability to delivery transportation related solutions including experience with IBM Maximo; relevant skills in project management with hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of project delivery • Experience providing enterprise architecture analysis and design services for large scale system implementation projects and with modular system • Knowledge of supporting transportation infrastructure • Ability to travel up to 50% • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
