What You Will Do:The Senior Project Finance Analyst serves as the primary financial partner for a portfolio of projects and engagement teams. This role supports project financial management through forecasting, revenue recognition, contract compliance, project setup, billing support, financial analysis, and month-end close activities. The analyst works closely with Project Managers, Engagement Managers, Accounting, Billing, Contracts, and Segment Finance teams to help ensure projects are financially sound, compliant, and accurately reported.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Prepare monthly project forecasts, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) updates, and revenue projections.
- Monitor project performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Perform variance analysis and identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Support quarterly forecasting cycles and annual planning activities.
- Analyze labor utilization, subcontractor costs, and profitability drivers.
Project Financial Management- Review project financial results and communicate issues to project leadership.
- Support project setup activities and verify alignment with contract requirements.
- Monitor funding, burn rates, backlog, and period-of-performance requirements.
- Assist with revenue recognition reviews and financial compliance requirements.
- Support project closeout activities and financial reconciliations.
Operational Support- Partner with engagement teams to maintain accurate forecasts and staffing assumptions.
- Support invoice reviews and billing inquiries.
- Analyze subcontractor spending and project cost trends.
- Assist with audit requests and financial documentation requirements.
- Maintain financial data within company forecasting and reporting systems.
What You Will Need:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 4-6 years of financial analysis, project finance, FP&A, government contracting, or related experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Excel and financial reporting systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
