Full Job Description
As a Senior Associate on Headway's Payer Strategy & Ops team, you will be the operational and intelligence engine behind our payer commercial team - owning the production of our commercial KPI and competitive intelligence resources, driving coordination of our commercial reporting cycles, and the enablement infrastructure powering our fast-moving payer partnerships org. This role is on the front line of rewiring mental healthcare in America.

Reporting to the Commercial Strategy & Ops Principal, you will work on critical strategic workstreams for the team that drives our org's commercial operating system. You'll do this as a member of one of the most AI-forward commercial teams in digital health - with the expectation that you direct the tools, question their output, and own every recommendation that carries your name.

You will thrive in this role if...

- You have 2-4 years in strategy / management consulting or a similar strategy & ops role where you owned complex analytical and operational problems end-to-end. Bonus points for healthcare experience.

- You are operationally excellent: the trains always run on time, and you manage a huge volume of moving pieces without dropping any.

- You use AI tools fluently and skeptically - you know what they're good at, where they fail, and you never ship an output you haven't pressure-tested.

- You are resourceful, scrappy, and leave no stone unturned.

You will love this role if...

- You want to see how a high performing commercial organization actually runs - intelligence, reporting, enablement, talent - from the inside, with a clear growth path.

- You want to work at the front edge of AI-enabled commercial operations.

- You thrive in ambiguity, seek out unfamiliar challenges, and shape how a team scales.

- You are motivated to face off against one of our generation's defining problems: access to mental healthcare.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected base pay range for this position is $90,440 - $133,000 based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.

We are committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package, including robust health and wellness benefits, retirement savings, and meaningful ownership opportunities through equity. Compensation decisions are made holistically, ensuring fairness and alignment with market benchmarks while recognizing individual contributions and potential.
  • Benefits offered include:
    • Equity compensation
    • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
    • HSA / FSA
    • 401K
    • Work-from-Home Stipend
    • Therapy Reimbursement
    • 16-week parental leave for eligible employees
    • Carrot Fertility annual reimbursement and membership
    • 13 paid holidays each year as well as a Holiday Break during the week between December 25th and December 31st
    • Flexible PTO
    • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
    • Training and professional development
