SENIOR ASSOCIATE, MEDIA PLANNING & ACTIVATION

The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Associate, Media Planning & Activation to independently manage campaign execution, optimization, and performance across biddable and direct media channels.
This is a hands-on role responsible for building, managing, and optimizing campaigns while supporting strategic planning and ensuring high-quality execution. You will play a critical role in delivering performance, maintaining operational excellence, and contributing to cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, performance-driven, and comfortable operating across multiple platforms while working closely with Supervisors and senior leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Planning & Activation- Build and manage campaigns across:
- Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit)
- YouTube & Google Ads
- Programmatic (DV360, Nexxen, TTD exposure)
- CTV / OLV
- Audio
- DOOH
- Direct IO, sponsorships, and takeovers
- Execute audience targeting, segmentation, and retargeting strategies
- Manage budgets, pacing, and delivery across campaigns
- Ensure campaigns launch accurately and on schedule
Performance & Optimization- Monitor and optimize campaign performance across key KPIs:
- CPA, ROAS, CAC, CTR, CVR, engagement
- Execute structured A/B testing frameworks, including:
- Creative and messaging
- Audience segmentation
- Bidding and optimization strategies
- Identify trends and performance drivers
- Implement optimizations and scale winning tactics
Measurement & Testing- Support implementation of incrementality testing (geo-lift, holdouts, lift studies)
- Understand attribution models and performance limitations
- Maintain accuracy of tracking and data inputs
- Analyze performance and support insight development
POV & Strategic Contribution- Contribute insights on:
- Platform performance trends
- Creative effectiveness
- Audience targeting strategies
- Support development of data-backed recommendations
- Share learnings to improve future campaign performance
Process & SOP Execution- Execute campaigns in line with established SOPs
- Maintain consistency across:
- Campaign setup
- Naming conventions
- Tracking and QA
- Identify areas for improvement in workflows and execution
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner closely with:
- Creative teams → asset delivery and testing
- Analytics teams → reporting and measurement
- Media Ops → timelines and execution readiness
- Support alignment across teams and deliverables
Mentorship & Team Support- Support Associates and Junior Associates
- Assist with onboarding and training
- Provide guidance on campaign execution and QA
Day-to-Day- Building and launching campaigns across platforms
- Monitoring performance and pacing
- Implementing optimizations and testing
- QA campaign setup, tracking, and assets
- Pulling and analyzing reports
- Coordinating with internal teams on deliverables
Strategy, Data & Tools Expertise- Media strategy tools: eMarketer, Comscore, platform insights
- Tagging, pixels, and conversion tracking (Meta Pixel, Google tags, CAPI)
- First-party and third-party data usage
- Attribution and measurement fundamentals
- Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
- Google Docs and Slides / PowerPoint for reporting support
Qualifications- 3-5+ years of experience in paid media
- Strong hands-on experience across multiple platforms
- Experience managing campaigns independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
