Full Job Description
Job purpose

This individual will support the Market Access function in advancing patient access to Innovative Medicines across Canada and joint support for the Generic and Consumer Heath businesses. They will provide strong operational, administrative, and project coordination support. This role will contribute to the successful planning and execution of Market Access activities across all brands and products.

The Market Access Associate will be responsible for coordinating submission activities, tracking key timelines and deliverables, and supporting data management and reporting across multiple initiatives. This individual will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality execution of Market Access requirements.

A high level of organization, attention to detail, and adaptability is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and grow in a dynamic environment while supporting team objectives and business goals.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of Market Access strategy across all brands, including coordination of submissions to public and private payers
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with reimbursement priorities and objectives
  • Maintain and report on key Market Access data (e.g., submission timelines, payer decisions, pricing, listing status) to support planning and decision-making
  • Monitor the reimbursement and HTA landscape and prepare summary updates for internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate and track project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution of Market Access initiatives
  • Provide administrative and operational support, including coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining organized documentation
  • Track budgets and process invoices related to Market Access activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to approved budgets
  • Identify and support improvements to tools, templates, and workflows to enhance team efficiency
  • Contribute to ad hoc Market Access projects and initiatives as needed


Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)

Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day

Qualifications

  • University degree is required (science, health economics, business, or related fields preferred), Master's level ideal/preferred.
  • 1+ years of Reimbursement, Health Economics (HEOR) experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices industry is required and/or 1+ years Market Access experience preferred
  • Proven project and time management skills
  • Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work in teams, collaborate
  • High degree of initiative and able to manage multiple priorities of significant scope in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and basic analytics platforms is required
  • French language ability is an asset

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $88,500 to $111,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; RRSP savings plan; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
