Senior Associate, Investment Operations

Division: Treasury

We're looking for a Senior Associate, Investment Operations, to join our Treasury team and take ownership of the operational backbone of our investment activities. This is a hands-on role spanning the full lifecycle of investment operations-from onboarding new accounts through trade execution, reporting, and continuous process improvement across multiple entities.

You'll work at the intersection of finance, tax, compliance, and technology, with significant latitude to build systems and streamline workflows as we scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end account opening processes across multiple entities and custodians
  • Execute KYC/AML due diligence, documentation collection, and ongoing monitoring
  • Monitor compliance with investment policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards, and recommend process improvements to strengthen operational controls.
  • Process and reconcile trade settlements across asset classes, ensuring accurate and timely execution
  • Act as primary liaison with custodians, brokers, counterparties, and service providers.
  • Track and Monitor cash movements, fees and expenses, capital calls, subscriptions, redemptions, corporate actions, and position reconciliations
  • Analyze portfolio performance, investment holdings, and manager results across multiple entities and asset classes, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support investment research as it relates to Foundations/ other entities
  • Lead implementation and enhancement of investment operations systems.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and databases to support investment reporting and operational decision-making.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to investment reporting, controls, and operational processes.
  • Work closely with the tax team to provide support for tax filings, year-end audits and compliance


Required
  • Post-Secondary Degree with emphasis on Business Administration / Finance / Accounting
  • 4-5 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or a related role
  • CFA / CPA/ CTP an asset
  • Working knowledge of trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and reconciliation
  • Familiarity with KYC/AML requirements and account documentation
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with databases
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities across entities
  • Exposure to multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives)
  • Background in process automation or systems implementation
