Overview

Support healthcare growth and operations through strategic legal guidance in real estate, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

💻 Work Style: Onsite
📍 Location: Jacksonville, Gainesville, St. Augustine, or Leesburg, FL
🕒 FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

Provides expert legal counsel to support organizational operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Manages litigation and dispute resolution to minimize risk and protect organizational interests. Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts, while overseeing corporate governance practices.

Supports policy development and collaborates with external counsel, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to address legal matters. Monitors changes in laws and regulations that may impact operations and ensures proactive compliance.

Offers strategic legal guidance to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the organization's mission and long-term objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in senior legal advisory roles
  • 7+ experience in real estate and construction law, Preferred
  • Proven expertise in litigation management and dispute resolution.
  • Strong skills in contract negotiation and corporate governance.
  • Experience advising senior leadership on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Knowledge of compliance monitoring and policy oversight.

Licensure/Certification (Required):
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Florida preferred or ability to obtain).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting or leading healthcare-related transactions.
Active license to practice law in Florida.
